How is this then. My brother don't want the snes. He wants a genesis. So I will just use the snes and use the credit towards a genesis. Lmfao no he wants to play Joe Montana and nhl94. I'm hooking him up. See its not that he or i hate the super nintendo I don't know about him but I like the super. We just never had one growing up. I traded my nes to a kid for his genesis. He lost the plug and I bought one. He got my nes and ten games for a genesis and last battle. My brother bought Joe Montana and nhl93 in 1993. I never got a snes till 96 or so. I think its about our nostalgia and damn ill come out more on top with a genesis. Look at the prices on the snes games.

I just want to ask one thing though. I have been looking back at the 16 bit console wars and I'm curious on one thing First both are great systems and have great games but I see that many people say that the genesis was actually more powerful than the snes? I was always told it was just faster then the snes. Is there any truth to this? I don't want any fights on this between genesis and nintendo fan boys. Just the facts. The last thing I want is people ruining the thread.

the SNES is more powerful at graphics/sound, but some genres (e.g. shmups and run n, guns) fare better and run faster with the Genesis' hardware. This is all a "general rule" though, and there are exceptions of Genesis ports that look or sound better and SNES ports that run at a better clip.mas wrote:I just want to ask one thing though.
