which system to get for my brother on christmas

Hi everyone,
I'm sorry for not following this thread after a couple days. All I have been doing is work and sleep and christmas shopping. I want to thank everyone for all of your votes and your replies on what to get my brother. For ninjaspandex: My brother own a wii and doesn't want it soft modded. I already asked him that. He is like me. He wants the real deal.
A few people mentioned the fc3 system and like I said he doesnt want the bootlegs. He wants to own the real systems.
Now it seems like that genesis is the way to go. My retro storesells them for 25.00. They even have a model 1 core system in box. I might get that and a couple ten dollar games and the rest are 3-5.00 dollars.
If I went the snes route which is one hell of a system I would only get mry brother the system which is 50.00 and a couple games. Nothing really good for games either.
So I decided the genesis, toejam and earl, ghostbusters, shinobi 3, and the rest like sonic 1,2 tecmo super bowl, nhl 94, world series 96, wwf royal rumble, sega genesis 6 pak, batman and robin, and street fighter series and mk series. That should be a little under 75.00

Ohh on a side note, I'm glad that there is sega love here on racketboy. I dont know about you but I'm playing some crazi taxi and mars matrix on my dreamcast.

Just wanted to update this for a second. Even though I had full intentions to get my older brother a sega for xmas. I managed to find a snes model 2 with one controller for 8 bucks. I will spend 60 or so dollars on snes games and just get the core titles. F zero, Mario all stars/world, street fighter 2 turbo, tetris attack, and tecmo super bowl, ans maybe a few others depending on how much I have left. I might have enough for the star wars trilogy.
Now that he is out of the way I have to get another genny anyways since mine just craped out. It doesn't matter that much since I own just a few games for it and most of my games that I own are onthe genesis collection on the psp.

That's a pretty solid selection of titles for SNES. For the cost of the Star Wars trilogy you might be able to pick up ALTTP or Super Metroid. Just a thought.

I went to a flea market dump and a guy was putting a table out and I asked how much? He said ten dollars and I told him i only had 8.00. He was cool with it. No games though.
