CTF Bloodgulch 24/7 w/ a full X-Play party every afternoon after school. :P

@Boring. Yeah, I ended up getting an Xbox for Halo 2 shortly after that came out. At that point though, I wasn't serious about consoles until the 360 came out shortly after. I was far too deep into Halo and then later Counter Strike Source.

Also, been playing Far Cry 3 lately. I'm not getting into it. I am having a huge amount of trouble seeing how people think it's so fantastic. I mean, it's fun, sure. The story is terrible and I want to punch my own character in the face. It runs well enough I suppose. It's just... it feels like Far Cry 2 with some minor tweaks and a prettier setting. That's not a bad thing, but, I honestly feel like I enjoyed FC2 more than I am 3 so far.

:? I guess it's good to hear Farcry 3 feels a lot like 2 now before I bought it. I had decided to give Farcry 2 a chance not that long ago but I just couldn't stand the game. There was nothing story wise to keep me invested in the game and made me want to play more into the game really, I mean you're just some guy that goes to a place to kill some other guy, shit happens, and you get stuck doing stupid missions for other people until you can kill the guy. I was hoping Farcry 3 was going to be a lot different but I guess I'll just steer clear.

I just got Dshonored in the mail today and I am loving it. I spent about 3 or 4 hours on the first mission just screwing around. I died a whole bunch but mostly that was due to me wanting to try different ways to get through situations. I have to say I'm really impressed with the whole game world. It sort of reminds me of Bioshock in a way, with tons of notes and audio logs to find and get a better feeling of the world. Hands down my goty.

Just beat Halo 1.

I really hate the Flood now. I don't know why I don't remember them being such a pain. What really frustrated me was their ability to use shotguns and rocket launchers.

Overall, great game. Fun single player campaign; although some levels could have benefited by being cut in half.

Are the Flood in Halo 2? I'll probably start it in the next couple days. I'd like to know if I'm going to have to face them... Kind of prepare myself, I guess.

They aren't in ODST, and I'm nearly through Reach and haven't seen them there either. Halo 3 has tons of them too though.

IIRC, Reach doesn't have the Flood.

Is ODST worth checking out?

It's only $20, and very easy to find in stores. It's short though, and Bungie's weakest effort. Worth one playthrough, and then off to the shelf.

I know it's not a fps, but did anybody actually like Halo Wars? I've never heard of anyone ever playing it

As somebody who plays a lot of strategy games on PC: Super dumbed down and fustrating

As somebody who plays consoles and hasn't dove into RTS games: Actually quite cool and easy to play
