I just wanted to ask besides racketboy, and amazon and ebay, is there any other sites that sell retro games? See I went to my local retro store and they know that they are the only ones in the city that sells retro games and systems and They have increased the prices to the max on ebay.
I see a game that sells roughly 15.00 on ebay and there are people who sell the game 20.00 and up and before when they go to pricecharts.com they usually go a couple dollars cheaper than what ebay and amazon sells the games for.
Now since all the employees have their hands on the game section they go for the highest price and tag it. It sucks because they know they can do this and the only way I can get a decent price on anything I buy is now ebay or even sell stuff.
Craiglist is o.k but no one ever has retro only 360 and wii and ps3. And if anyone sells on craigslist for retro they want a ton of cash. I see nintendo with 5 games for 120.00 firm. and they games are mario/duck hunt, a few sports games and maybe mario 3.
So does anyone else go to any other sites for retro games? let me know thanks.
P.s thrift stores are crap in my city. No one ever has anything.

eStarland is my favorite.
JJGames is also very good.
Those are my top two. eStarland has most everything in pristine shape, and re-shrinkwraps items. JJGames is more "as is" quality but cheaper prices.
Also, check out Game of Japan if you're into imports (especially PC Engine, Saturn, and Super Famicom).

I agree, but if you live in Canada (like me) they can sometimes take a loooong time to ship stuff.BoneSnapDeez wrote:JJGames is also very good..

I've actually never had a problem with shipping times - I recently bought a mint copy of Castlevania Legends on GB and they had it to me within a week.sosoyo180 wrote:I agree, but if you live in Canada (like me) they can sometimes take a loooong time to ship stuff.BoneSnapDeez wrote:JJGames is also very good..

I imagine this is a busy time of year for those guys, and the small size of the package might have had something to do with it too. I'm sure your games will be along soon!sosoyo180 wrote:You lucky duck, i've been waiting two and a half weeks for 2 NES games...I've actually never had a problem with shipping times - I recently bought a mint copy of Castlevania Legends on GB and they had it to me within a week.

Thanks for the info. It just sucks that stores know that no one sells vintage anymore and they decide to jack up the prices because they are the only ones now and customers dont have a choice.

Lukie games is pretty good. A bit expensive but great customer service. JJ games is good, until you have a problem, and then the service begins to suffer. It seems as if they are short staffed. Estarland is good but expensive with a capital E. Good luck!

If eBay and Amazon get you down with their crazy prices, check out half.com. It's an eBay site but sometimes if you can get someone who is fast and good with a description there are games over there too. They use the same feedback system eBay does.
