If you can get TSFP for cheap on the Cube, go for it. Copies as mentioned on Amazon are pretty expensive, and when they show up on eBay (not often) they go for a large price.
Coming from someone who is experiencing the GC FPS titles, I have no issues with the controllers. Both sticks work as well as you'd expect, giving you full range of motion and speed, and those triggers *are* comfortable.
To the dude who got Dark Legacy, this game and Cvs2 for cheap - that's a score. All 3 of those games go for $20 and up *each*.

Make sure to learn the level editor you can add A.I. bots (probably over 50 types to choose from), its infinite fun. Plus the options in game modes are plentiful.
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.
