Man I hate that stupid suit texture. What's wrong with cloth? :(

Where's the iconic spitcurl? :( :(

Oh well, hopefully the movie works.

Yeah, this trend of basketball suits and "woe is me" heroes needs to stop. I can only even take enough of whiny teenage P.Parker, but whiny Superman is just terrible. And yes, I know that part of the early Superman storyline was the son of Krypton being vilified, but this is a reboot and this is NOT the image to use when trying to attract the non-comic reading audience.

I know I am going on a mini-rant, but I just don't know how this premiere poster was allowed. Two hands revealing the S Symbol under a dress shirt? Yes please. One or two fists reaching the stratosphere? Yes please. I'd even settle for Clark on a mobile phone with the pull being "I'll get right back to you", but this poster flat out stinks as it doesn't "sell" Superman or his iconic (that's "epic" to you people under 21) image.

Superman should be an uplifting figure, not a gloomy one. I'm worried they'll try and make him too dark. I personally feel that All-Star Superman should be the foundation for any portrayals.

I'm willing to forgive all of this if the movie turns out good, and I really want it to, but man... Snyder has yet to win me over.

There are glimpses of hope in the trailer, but then again we see bearded Clark looking like all he wants to do is kick rocks, a dead butterfly (hell if I know why), and then Supes breaking the sound barrier. If it's twenty minutes of origin and an hour or so of action I am all in.

I'm wayyyy over analyzing this, but at the same time I am looking at the bigger picture aka TJL. Marvel really set the bar with IRON MAN and Superman needs to follow suit. SPIDER-MAN 3 taught us that bummed out super heroes make for awful movies and, for me at least, makes a statement that the audience is dumb.

It probably boils down to the fact that I think so many other brilliant people could have made a much better poster that would draw in more ticket sales and spark interest. I mean, this is marketing a movie. Tens of thousands of dollars were put into this shot and what does the poster say? This poster is better suited for an Amanda Bynes leaving court doc, not a Superman movie.

I just saw Wreck-It-Ralph with my niece this past weekend. I enjoyed it. The Sheng Long reference took me back.

Looks like I'm the only one here who celebrated Thunderstruck Tuesday. It's as awesome bad as I had expected.

They could have titled it Tween Wolf, as all the characters are there. Except Styles is Maleek from House of Payne and doesn't do much at all and isn't wacky. That, and there are no werewolves. And the hardboiled egg loving coach is replaced by a booze loving Jim Belushi who slurs like a drunk Uncle at Thanksgiving. And there is no real love interest.

Okay, so maybe it's nothing like Teen Wolf, but it is still an awesome movie very worthy of your twelve dollars (you really don't need to drop coin for the blu ray, dvd'll do).
