Mjmjr25: Is that so... LOL!

I just confirmed that what you heard about in regards to the delay is correct. There is no need to be rude sir.

Anyone heard anything new on Sturmwind?

Website says you can get a refund by formally requesting at the customer service email (the new one, not the old one that they got rid of due to too many requests...)

Says all requests will be handled within 1-2 days and no hassles.

Requested mine 40 days ago. No reply to the initial request or any follow-ups. It is now over a year since it was paid for :/

^that sucks.

I want to support new DC games obviously, but that's disheartening.

I still need Gunlord.

But yeah, lousy news as Sturmwind looks so good.

Both developer Duranik and Pulblisher RSG have been in communication with memebers over at DC-Talk via seperate threads for some time now.
Hope this link is productive enough to at least help out.

Yes, this delay on Sturmwind is getting old, they said it would at least come out in 2012. Well wrong again. It is beginning to tick me off as well. I paid for mine in April of 2011 and it is almost 2013.

I'm sorry, but they really need to give up on these stupid DC releases and just put Sturmwind on PSN/XBLA. Waiting forever just to put this on a console that's been dead for over ten years is just a waste of everybody's time. All these ridiculous delays are just a testament to that. It's almost 2013, let the DC go!
"Welcome to the circus of values!"

Currently Playing: Crysis (360), Destiny demo (PS3), Roadblasters (MAME)

This would work for every one that has a PS3 or Xbox 360, but I do not. So the Dreamcast is my only way of being able to play it. I think they should go ahead and let you guys have it early though. Maybe make the download included in the purchase of the Dreamcast disc and a stand alone version also.

Hmm, it's getting a bit annoying with the delay- i had almost forgotten that i'd preordered the limited edition. However on Dec 6th, i received this mail from Redspot games, so hopefully there's now light at the end of the tunnel!

Dear redspotgames customer and fans

Sturmwind has made the next step toward completion: The current version has been delivered to the new CD production facility to complete a test production series.

Once we receive these test CD-ROMs, further compatibility orientated procedures will be done. When these tests went without any complications, we can make the final order to complete the production of the Sturmwind CD-ROMs and manuals. As you might know, the Limited Editon boxes are already there, among other components.

We wish you a nice day and if you have any further questions, don't hesitate to contact the redspotgames customer support.

For now, the release date is still set to "TBA". We inform you about any change of it asap.

With best regards

Awesome necro of this thread guys, but i got the following email from Redspot Games. Sturmwind is finally happening! April 24th!

Antritt zur Weltenrettung!

The fierce enemy‘s troops have already reached our world‘s doorsteps and we are running out of time! Our reconnaissance drones have detected 16 promising locations for our search of „Mother“, the planet of our living ancestors. After several development steps by Duranik and redspotgames the launch date for your mission is clear.

Sturmwind pilots, your all-dominant mission will begin on April 24th 2013. All documents will be sent to you until this very date.

Fight over 20 boss enemies in 16 levels. In addition to the so-called “Award Trophy System”, there will also be an internet highscore list in which your performance can compete against each other worldwide. Your wings of steel are now our last resort.

Stay ready for further instructions. Over and out.

You can find further information on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/redspotgames

With best regards
