Smile: A great week for gaming. DK Jr cab, a boxed AES, and Wii U on Sunday!
Ticked: I think I'm coming down with a cold.
I get sick maybe once every other year. The microchip has been compromised.

True. I took the day off to rest, but here I am searching for arcade wisdom on KLOV. Since 8:00 this morning I've consumed: 16 oz of fresh orange juice, a bulb of garlic, wheatgrass smoothie, my daily multi, and almost a gallon of water.sevin0seven wrote:that also means you stay home and get to enjoy your new toys!s1mplehumar wrote:Ticked: I think I'm coming down with a cold.I get sick maybe once every other year. Frown: I've always kept my facebook page on lock down. "So we went to high school together? Neat. But I can't accept you as a friend, because we aren't".
Even close friends I've deleted because they'll post political junk. I like to keep my friends list below thirty, if that. But a good friend who is both witty and sarcastic un-friended me for this exchange:
Her: No deep fried Twinkees at the fair anymore? I think I just threw up in my mouth a little?
Me: Did you spit or swallow?
I've been telling that same joke for as long as people have been saying "I just threw up in my mouth a little" (which has been too long people. way too long). Sometime this meant I got the axe.
Oh well, that only means I can stop hiding her multiple posts about her baby.
Smile: 10 AA batteries for $2.00 at the Dollar Tree. I'm a sucker for "cheap" batteries. I still have the same "cheap" batteries I put in my 360 controller over a month again and they're still pumping out juice.

That's awesome. My dad gets a great discount on batteries through his work.. He's my dealerLuke wrote:Smile: 10 AA batteries for $2.00 at the Dollar Tree. I'm a sucker for "cheap" batteries. I love being "battery rich". I can tell these batteries don't have the same power as say Duracell when it comes to electronics that require high power, but for remotes and game remotes they're a steal.puke_face wrote: That's awesome. I usually have a pack in the car, in the house, and a few in the garage just in case. I usually always have at least 1 pack of AAA batteries for the game boy pocket.Luke wrote:I love being "battery rich". Damn, there really are a lot of spammers today. Yeash
I'm just glad that whatever I've got, I've got now. Maybe then I'll be able to clear it up by Thanksgiving. I want to be able to enjoy my turkey, damnit.
You too? I noticed something starting up yesterday. I don't know if I've got a full blown cold yet, but I definitely feel the beginnings of something. The back of my throat's all scratchy and sores1mplehumar wrote:Ticked: I think I'm coming down with a cold.![]()

Ah, so you have discovered the secret best place to get batteries as well.Luke wrote:Smile: 10 AA batteries for $2.00 at the Dollar Tree. I'm a sucker for "cheap" batteries. I still have the same "cheap" batteries I put in my 360 controller over a month again and they're still pumping out juice.
Really, Dollar Tree is great for many things even if they probably conjure up images of the ghetto for many people. If I didn't have a Dollar Tree, I likely wouldn't keep my N64 Rumble Pak in operation.
Also they are a good place to find frozen microwaveable Jamaican food, oddly enough. The spicy beef patties are super tasty.
