I don't understand your objection to a DLC code for extras.

The answer to about 90% of the questions in this thread, if not 100%, is money.

The things you don't like or don't make sense are done becasue they expect/hope those choices to make money or becasue they are already proven to make money.

Nope. If you look at how many games companies are losing money or closing shop, I think it's fair to say that there are plenty of dumb and unprofitable things going on in the industry right now, money left on the table.

There's plenty to be confused about.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Nope. Even if some of the decisions are dumb and don't actually make money, they were made with the expectation that they would make money. That's the motivation for the actions, that's the explanation.

And related, buying a small developer that made a few great games, letting them make one or two more, then closing down that studio, firing everyone that made the games great, then wondering why the soulless sequels they pump out suck ass. Alternatively, after buying a smaller studio, forcing them to make games that are completely different from the hit they had, then closing it down and firing everyone because the games don't sell well enough.

My brain can't comprehend how dumb Square Enix and Capcom have become. I do not compute.

Also everything.

This a problem when they releasing collection of games, like Resi 6 anthology, you got a code to download them from PSN but with my internet conection Resi 4 would take like 2 days on fully download. I prefer that the extra games come in the same disc or on a separate disc (like in Medal of Honor the special edition came with a HD version of frontline ready to install from the disc to your Ps3).

I don't understand why people are so pissed at Capcom. Square Enix, yes they have kind of gone down the toilet with the exception of Sleeping Dogs, but Capcom put out Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Street Fighter X Tekken, and Dragon's Dogma and those games were all awesome.

People just seem to be way too butt-hurt over the Mega Man cancelations and Resident Evil 6.

Which leads me to another point, why was everyone so upset about Resident Evil 6? It was obvious it would suck.

Street Fighter X Tekken had a good amount of DLC characters that were already on the disc, this is the same case for Resi 6 i think it was a extra chapter or something like that. They released UMvC a few months after the original without giving the option of gettin the ultimate characters via DLC for your normal MvC 3.
Since 4 all Resident Evil games are a mix in opinion some people enjoy it and some hate it. You forgot to mention Operation Racoon city i was hype for that game and when it hits release i see the game only lasts like 5 hours... luckily never buy it.

Not something a developer is doing, but the general public.

How come with the release of RE5 and then RE6 everyone complained that "Resident Evil isn't scary anymore" but when they released RE4 HD and Code Veronica HD everyone complained about the dated controls and poor graphics?
