Which should I buy?
Should I buy Legend of Zelda NES or Legend of Zelda 2 NES? Also which is worth more, gray or gold carts? Thanks.

Gold is worth a little more, although it's not rare at all for either game. Get the original, more people seem to enjoy that one than Zelda 2.

But Zelda 2 is awesome.BoringSupreez wrote:Gold is worth a little more, although it's not rare at all for either game. Get the original, more people seem to enjoy that one than Zelda 2.
You should get both.
Re: Which should I buy?
Yeah, why would you not get both? Neither should be more than $10 loose, if that.

If you cannot get them both, then I would get The Legend of Zelda. It was a groundbreaking, non-linear game, and it is still very fun.
That said, I am a big fan of Zelda II. It can be very difficult, however; so, I understand why some people do not like it.
What I would love to see is another game like Zelda II that takes a little more inspiration from Metroid or Catlevania: Symphony of the Night. I have long viewed Zelda II as a just as much of an inspiration of Symphony of the night as Metroid, and I think that Zelda II's basic mechanics would make a good "Metroidvania" game. It could even be set in one giant palace. (Get on that homebrewers!!)

Re: Which should I buy?
I like the second game more, but they're very different and you might as well start with the first one?
Re: Which should I buy?
Well, I also prefer Zelda II, but I guess I would recommend Zelda I over it. Still... GET BOTH!
