Just got back from seeing Skyfall, which for the record was 143 minutes and felt like it. Definitely one of the best Bond movies, right up there with Goldfinger.

lol! So true. If I'm tired from work or something and just not feeling, that's pretty much all my wife has to do and I'm all over it.

BTW, I'm not really into Natalie Portman, but I'd have to be gay to not enjoy that particular pic.

Super Spoilers that will ruin everything considering the Lucas outline to Star Wars VII. Do not view if you want anything to be a surprise.
The Lucasfilm logo mists away to the Disney logo, and then it is business as usual. Leia and Han have already established a new senate at Corsicca with the aid of the remaining rebels, but the Empire, even with the loss of the Death Star still has its grip on the majority of the star systems.

Luke on the other hand has used funds provided by the Senate to create a new Jedi Temple where he, and "ghost Jedis" train very small classes. The balance of the force has yet to completely balanced as there is a new unknown leader of the Empire who is also using the force to cloud the minds of the new Jedi counsel. There is some banter between Luke and Leia about her refusing to learn how to use the force, but she is not quick to share their family secret with the newly formed Senate.

We meet two young men, identical in almost every facet. They meet nice at the Jedi Temple, and the 1-upping ensues. This continues for quite a while until one day the Empire strikes the Temple from space and on ground. While new Jedi are being slaughtered, our two male leads would rather fight each other than the Empire. One is wounded (who is the "light" of the two) and left for dead. The "dark" Jedi leaves to inform the Senate. We see an iconic Imperial ship land and a caped figure picks up the limp "light" body, back turned to the audience.

As "dark" informs the Senate of the recent happenings, a plan to sweep the Empire off the galaxy is made.

Cut to someone fading in and out of consciousness hearing the unmistakeable sound of Darth Vader breathing. We finally see that "light" is on a Star Destroyer on an operating bed next to Vader. Fight ensues, "light" loses, and Vader tells his story of betrayal, but nothing about the Emperor's death nor the destruction of the second Death Star.

Back at the senate the remaining Jedi and ghost Jedi have one of those low lit serious scenes about a new power in the dark side. The "dark" Jedi wants to confront the Empire asap and although the counsel warns him to stay put, he leaves solo style anyway.

"Dark" and "light" meet again, and with the help of Darth Vader, "dark" is injured to the brink of death but thanks to a reliable droid, makes his way back to the senate with the news. The "Light" and "Dark" Jedis have seemed to have switched roles.

Once the word of Vader is spoken at the counsel, Kenobi drops the bomb. "I am not Ben Kenobi, I am his clone", and goes on to explain that his blood/mitachlorians were taken from a battle he had with Jango Fett. "Obi wan was their code name for another Ben Kenobi. I was named OB-1, and the name never left".

This is why the Jedi disappear after death, so no more Jedi clones could be made. Vader however was cloned during his "construction" and has no knowledge of the events in the original trilogy. He was brought to life, and is still pissed as he was before he got all soft on Luke.

The plan goes into effect to dismantle the Empire with minimal success. Space fights, ground fights on multiple planets (endor and wookie-ville included) until the finale where Vader just sits on his Emperor-esque throne while the two (former light, and dark) Jedis have a duel within confined quarters. When the former "light" Jedi slashes off the "dark" Jedi's hand, "Vader seems to remember something". We learn that the "dark" Jedi was in cahoots with Vader the entire time and feels betrayed by his "Master".

Vader plunges his lightsaber into his heart and utters "You were never a worthy apprentice". Darth turns to his new apprentice and only says, "Arise".

End credits.
