What was the last movie you've seen?

THE EXPANDABLES was awful.

I have to agree. It was boring for me and my Golden God didn't have enough screen time. I actually stopped watching it. I've heard better things about Expendables 2 though.

edit: i just noticed it was EXPANDables that I quoted but still - I'll stand by my statement about Expendables.

My jokes fall on "deff" ears.

I'm feeling especially dense today... so were you alluding to Expendables 2 'deff'-initely being better?

I'm not a horror fan so I had no urge to watch this. I kept being goaded by my friends to watch it, and they refused to tell me anything about it, and I'm really glad they refused. I finally watched it, and it was very entertaining for me. I loved the spin they put on the horror genre! It was funny and hilarious when it needed to be. I really enjoyed it, and I might just have to purchase the BluRay.
Also loved the alluding to Lovecraftian 'Old Ones', and when the one guy gets killed by his precious Merman. "Aw come on!" lol

LINCOLN

Well, Tommy Lee Jones is still awesome. Day-Lewis gave a solid performance as stoned Lincoln and he'll probably be nominated for an Oscar, but Hoffan or Phoenix are far more deserving of winning.

As for the movie itself, the quality of production is impeccable. People enthralled with Lincoln will more than likely enthusiastically praise this film. ...Annnnnd then there are people like me who will say "eh". I can't remember for the life of me the last time I was flipping channels and stayed on C-Span. If almost three hours of C-Span set in the 1860's, is your bag of tea, you are in for a delight.

It accomplishes what it sets out to do in incredible fashion, but I simply did not find it entertaining. If I had to make a video game analogy, I'd say Lincoln is like Halo. It is perfect for what it is, but it simply doesn't appeal to me.

It's worth seeing if only to form your own opinion on the film, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

I plan to see it, but Skyfall is the next priority...

Mine too, but hard to pass up Lincoln on election night.

With all the praise SKYFALL has received I feel like an idiot for not have already seen it. Hopefully Thursday I'll check it out.

Strong opinion: Every movie theater should serve Soft Pretzels aka Super Pretzels and a quality bottled American Lager. One, they're both awesomely delicious. Two, they make much less noise than bags of popcorn and huge cups of soda.

Two completely different sausages. As much as I love them both, too messy. Maybe Pizza in a Cup instead. Navin would surely approve.

yeah hate to break it to you bro, but hotdogs and brats are two totally diff things.

I feel like a hotdog w/ mustard could be eaten pretty neatly. Hell, you could probably get relish, onions, celery salt on that thing and still keep it pretty contained as long as you did it right -- do'nt go crazy with amount, maybe put the "toppings" under the dog, etc.
