Indeed. The biggest complaint I seem to see from gaming-corners of the internet is that there weren't enough cameos/references to older games and that they felt there would be more. I thought that they had just enough of these, personally, and that the film's characters carried the movie just fine.MrPopo wrote:Because you are a joyless human being.Key-Glyph wrote:Saw the movie over the weekend, and overall was pretty disappointed. Yeah, i didn't expect the poster at all. I try not to let marketing color expectations. I thought the original characters were quite well done for animated fare, and were much more compelling than the cameos (as should be the case).

Yup. People didn't go see ROGER RABBIT to see Donald Duck.dsheinem wrote:Yeah, i didn't expect the poster at all. I try not to let marketing color expectations. Yes, but Roger Rabbit was gold all on its own. This seems aimed too much toward children to be an apt comparison.Luke wrote:Yup. I would like to remind the forum that Yoshi's Island is too "kiddy" for this man.o.pwuaioc wrote:Yes, but Roger Rabbit was gold all on its own. Wait, was kiddy the word I used? Too "cute" for sure. And that crying - dear god was that annoying!
I still will probably see this movie.
