Indeed. The biggest complaint I seem to see from gaming-corners of the internet is that there weren't enough cameos/references to older games and that they felt there would be more. I thought that they had just enough of these, personally, and that the film's characters carried the movie just fine.

Yeah, i didn't expect the poster at all. I try not to let marketing color expectations. I thought the original characters were quite well done for animated fare, and were much more compelling than the cameos (as should be the case).

Yes, but Roger Rabbit was gold all on its own. This seems aimed too much toward children to be an apt comparison.
