Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Do I want to play this game? You're damned right I do!

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
^ I heard that they were putting those in some theaters. I haven't seen one yet, but I hope too.
Also, my nearest Play n' Trade has re-dubbed itself The Gamers Edge. I guess they lost their franchise or something. They're still using the same stickers, though..... Those same damn, green stickers.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I'm increasingly annoyed that it seems I can't buy any new PC game without it being tied to Steam unless I buy through GoG, which obviously doesn't carry much in the way of new games.
If consoles have anything over PCs, it's that they can't take your games away from you over BS.
A friend of mine got his Steam account closed for some reason. He hasn't given me the details yet.

*testing SNES Frogger*
Wow, 3 people listed on the bare bones 'title' screens that flash by until you start a game. It can't have taken those 3 people more than a week to make and test the game and send it out the door. Scanned and tinted artwork between levels, maybe 7 different sound effects straight from stock libraries, no music, doesn't go back to the title to let you pick 1 or 2 players after a game. Man, I feel sorry for anyone that bought this for $40-50 when it came out.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I actually did buy this game new back when I owned a SNES. Yeah, I felt pretty cheated, especially since every other game I owned for the system was a classic. The only reason it is notable is because it was the last SNES game released in the US.Hobie-wan wrote:*testing SNES Frogger*

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Also, if you manage to track down Nintendo's official list of SNES games released in the US on their website, they left out Frogger.
Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
So Nintendo shunned it? Not a good sign. Should probably be considered a gaming omen.Ack wrote:Also, if you manage to track down Nintendo's official list of SNES games released in the US on their website, they left out Frogger.

Admittedly though, Super Scope 6 also isn't on the list, so take it how you will.Michi wrote:So Nintendo shunned it? Not a good sign. I guess that big, bulky thing could never live up to the Zapper's unreasonably high expectations.Ack wrote:Admittedly though, Super Scope 6 also isn't on the list, so take it how you will.Michi wrote:So Nintendo shunned it? Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Should I get Megaman Legends on the N64 or PS1? The N64 version seems to be cheaper, but if the PS1 version is far superior than I'll pick up that version.
