What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Smile - I did the House of the Dead thing again. Set up a CRT TV with Dreamcast outside in the back of the van. Lightgun shooting zombies while passing out candies to the little monsters. This year was special, I'll post pics later for the VAN OF THE DEAD.

Pissed neighbors just knocked on my door about turning the heat up it is midnight for christ sake my apt is 78 degrees.

How come they need you to turn up the heat? Is it because they have no radiators in their apt? Seems like a design flaw that the apt is not on a separate zone.

They have radiators but the thermostat is in my apt this place was built in 1906 it has a gutted store on the first floor then me and the 3rd fl ppl. There are 5 ppl living in the 1 bedroom apt. We gave our 30days last night there has been to many problems living here and the landlord comes into my place when i am not here without prior notice or reason.

He's the type that asks if I'm done yet, while I'm in the act of taking items out of a box and putting them on the shelf.

Really? How? I mean, if my hours aren't worked on a holiday then how would I get the holiday rate?

Holidy pay is just an extra 7-8 hours on your paycheck. As long as you work your scheduled shifts on the days before, during, and after the holiday in question (if applicable), you'll get the pay. If you aren't scheduled that holiday, you'll still get it assuming you like, don't call in the day before or after or something.

Iirc, this applies to full-time only. But you're overnight, so you should be full-time, right?
