Buy your own one-cup machine and bring it with you...

Or make your own coffee before you go to work and use a thermos...

:( I will be travelling for work over Halloween...

:D Just found this:

I love The Onion's articles on old video games...3-D WorldRunner references mean that there is definitely a retro-gamer on the writing staff.

:( Kind of an ass day in general. I'm home sick for one thing. In addition, I'm supposed to have Friday off but I just received some shitty passive-aggressive email from my boss saying "Hey everyone, I do want you all to work Friday after all!" Guess I'll have to fight that when I get back to work tomorrow, as I have an appointment on Friday - I was also assured back in August that I would have the day off.

Oh, and a money order I sent out last Thursday appears to be lost in the mail. Poopy.

We put it in about a year or two ago I want to say. I think it's vendor supplied and it might just be a regional thing.
Nah, thats a common vendor method. We have machines that usually gum up and just make a terrible cup of coffee. But one of the machines does not have standard coffee only hot chocolate, vanilla "cappuccino," and Mackintosh Special blend. Which means its pretty much a stripped down gas station cappuccino machine - which is fine by me, best of all it usually doesnt have a line.

Many offices wont allow your own machine - my old one didnt care this one is very strict about it. Usually its an OSHA rep or a safety manager on a power trip.

I could do the thermos method, which was my original idea, but I have a little over an hour ten commute right now. So Id rather not have to stop.

No one would have a problem with me bringing my own machine and coffee. The problem is that they would be stolen.

Fed up with my cats sitting / lying on top of my CRT screen sucking up heat, blocking the vent holes, and dropping small pieces of kitty litter that sticks to their paws through the holes. I can already hear things snap and pop in the monitor...

They already killed my Harman Kardon amplifier that way. Fucking bitches...

Still, I'd like an alternative for them. They are naked afteral. And no, 24/7 central heating is just not an option. We already have the highest electicity and gas bills in Europe. So fuck that...

A heating plate that produces more or less the same heat as an audio amplifier, is big enough for preferably two cats, and doesn't suck too much electricity would be ideal. Can't seem to find anything that would be able to serve that purpose...

So one of my cats really likes my HDTV box for napping. It generates a lot of heat but doesn't have overheating problems from the cat napping on it. It only fits a single cat, though.

Hehe, two HDTV boxes would do the trick...

But I found the solution !!!

Seems like I was using the wrong keywords to find what I was looking for...

Heat + plate + cat was no good.

Heat + mat + cat / pet on the other hand. Bingo!...

How many mats do you want?... :D

There's also this one:

But that's just looks disturbing if you ask me... :?

Second picture looks like a cheap fluffy Made in China ExistenZ pod or something... :?

And to think I almost bought a heat plate for chicks...

Now just put some pigeon spikes on top of the monitor so they can't rest up there and you're all set.
