Also, bears. I hate bears. They're useless animals, ugly lumbering hulks of flesh that stink!
They should have used a great cat. Lions, Tigers, etc. I dont know if Great cats are indigenous to Scotland, but I still hate bears!

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
the cosmic jester is at it again.
coincidentally I just saw Conan The Destroyer earlier this afternoon.
I seriously was tempted to type about it. But I had other errands to do.
And now I see you guys have beat me to it.
The first conan was most memorable with thulsa doom and conans origins.
The second one was middling. Its not like the first one. Theres other characters and conan is no longer a lone man on a quest. Theres some of blood and some lost limbs in this movie. I am amazed that it got a PG rating. There is still lots of fantasy in it so fans of monsters and magic wont be dissapointed.
So Its not bad, but it could be better.
The ending of this movie made it so that in the future there could be other sequels.
So It may happen?
I guess it will be one last hurrah for mr. schwarzennegger. There may be some action scenes left in him. But he can be no longer the oiled, chiseled body builder of the 80's. I dont want to see a old sword clad, leather bag wearing a loincloth.
Lets hope they dont do the CGI governator like they did in terminator salvation.
And the plot! Keep it simple and not heavy and the movie can do fine.

He's got a lot of other movies in the pipeline, I don't know if I'd call it a last hurrah.flojocabron wrote: I guess it will be one last hurrah for mr. schwarzennegger. He's in better shape now than that governor era pic everyone's seen would lead you to believe. Hitting the gym again can do wonders. That said, I imagine they'll have him wearing some kind of bulky armor or something too. As long as they don't give him CG muscles...

The fact that Arnold is an old man actually works out well for the story they've laid out. I'm a big fan of the first 2 movies, so I'll be eagerly awaiting this film! (However, I did still enjoy the Jason Mamoa film, just not as much.)
He's playing Conan as an old man, I don't think CGI or a muscle-suit would be necessary. Just that he works out should suffice for this role.AppleQueso wrote: That said, I imagine they'll have him wearing some kind of bulky armor or something too. As long as they don't give him CG muscles...

Cabin in the Woods
I really thought I'd hate this movie ... until I saw what the purpose was. Very awesome.

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
It's kind of scary how Arnold and Sylvester are old men, but they look almost as good as they did in the 80's. If the rest of the old people figure out that they don't have to become walking bone bags just because they get older they might take back the country from us.
