Pretty sure I got my original Super Nintendo just for Super Mario World.

I bought my Wii for Okami and DKCR. But the fact that it also plays GameCube games (my GC just broke) means it doesn't really count.

Same here, but was that early on in its cycle? I'm sure the idea entered that there would be more coming and thus ultimately worth it.AppleQueso wrote:Pretty sure I got my original Super Nintendo just for Super Mario World.

I also bought a Saturn just for The House of the Dead, and a Wii for Skyward Sword.

I bought an Atari 7800 because of One-on-One Basketball with Dr. J and Larry Bird. While the rest of the library (and I have a bunch of games that came in the lot) is interesting, that one really stuck out to me. This is pretty recent too.

I bought Wonderswan color only to play the (colorless) Klonoa game, got a stack of random games with it thoughTildius Maximus wrote:I bought a wonderswan color for rockman ws and a few squaresoft titles (final fantasy) ><
though I have since found some other cool games for it.
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)

I remember buying my Dreamcast for Bangai-o and Tech Romancer. Bangai-o ended up becoming one of my favorite games of all time. I would play tech romancer more but I hate fighting the final boss....

Your Avatar Label demands that you get Ball Blazer for the 7800.retrosportsgamer wrote:I bought an Atari 7800 because of One-on-One Basketball with Dr. J and Larry Bird. I think the fact that I was like 2 or 3 and wasn't even really aware of most of the other games for it at the time probably factored in.o.pwuaioc wrote:Same here, but was that early on in its cycle?
