Pity the movie doesn't do justice to the game. Great game, but the movie is terrible. I like cheesy, campy 70's movies, I enjoy watching so-bad-it's-good movies (I've seen The Room seven times on the big screen) but The Warriors was one of the biggest cinematic disappointments I've ever had the displeasure to watch.

Well, there is a reason why the term "Cult film" exists. Movies like these is not meant for everyone, like for me, I am not a fan of Rocky Horror Picture Show.

I guess Mortal Kombat Shaolin monks on PS2, if by Asian action movie you mean Riki oh.

I've actually played that before. I really enjoyed it. I wish there were more MK beat 'em ups, but they've gone back to the familiar 1 on 1 fighting game formula.

So what's a good jumping on point for the Yakuza games? Any good current gen entries? Also, can I enjoy Fist of the North Star knowing nothing about the anime or manga.

Speaking of Fist of the North Star, something about this video makes me laugh my ass off even though I haven't played Dead Island and know nothing about Fist of the North Star

Well, I got a copy of Yakuza 4. I don't like jumping into a series in non chronological order, but I don't feel like hooking up my PS2 to play 1 and 2 and I hear Yakuza 4 is the best of the bunch and has lots of cutscenes to get you caught up on the story. After all the fun I had with environmental kills in Sleeping Dogs, I was intrigued by Yakuza 4's "Heat" moves. They look like lots of fun!
