What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I hope none of you ever hope to run for office. Apparently, enjoying video games makes you unfit for something as serious as politics...
That's so hilariously stupid that it makes my brain hurt.

:D Was in the garage last night with foxhounds family and his buddy tearing down a engine and replaceing a break line. His brother made some snarky comment about his dad having to yell at me twice to get him paper towels when in reality dad was talking to him so i told him to get back in the truck since the only thing he is good for is pumping the brakes which he couldn't even do correctly  Dad told him to get the brake fluid he couldn't even find it i had to tell him where it was.
I normally never say anything to donnies when he gets bitchy with me but i have had enough of that freeloading sack of shit thinking he is better than me.

^I think you mean, Donnie's brother? But yeah, family stuffs are always complicated, easy to give advice, but the dynamics on the ground sometimes make the common sense approach not seem like common sense...good luck w/it.

Yup. And don't be a dick and post shit about his brother on a forum you know Donny will read. That will just exacerbate the situation.

Either have a heart to heart with the guy or put on our bug girl pants and not let the guy get under your skin. The last thing you want to start is a non game show version of The Family Feud.

:D Got two days off of school.

:( Been sick during those. Got a stomach virus. Today was a half day at school, so I didn't miss much. I would have gone, but due to not sleeping or keeping any food in my stomach due to puking, I literally couldn't get out of bed till 12:30, which is when school ended. Feel ok, but still don't trust myself to eat anything too out there. Sticking to grilled cheese and crackers for now.

I dunno, that sounds like it'd be a lot more interesting. Have you seen the game show? Hundreds of episodes and no one's been shot yet.

Smile- Making a giant cell in science class.
You know what would make me smile more? If MrPopo told me how he got a NWC cart.

It's no problem; I was present at the time of said altercation, and I have no problem with what she said.

My brother really doesn't have very many applicable skills, and relies heavily on my father to repair things, and constantly "borrows" money from him. So there are no illusions between what she has stated and what I know as fact; he is just a burden, to put it lightly.

She was simply making a retort to what was a scathing comment thrown her way, and this has happened on more than 1 occasion.

My brother is just an abrasive person, whether he is trying to be or not; it's his personality.
