Flashback - Xevious (Haters come in! =P)

Post by Erik_Twice »

As you might already know, Flashback is my very own retrogaming column, which is featured twice a month on Snackbar-games.com. Covering games that everyone has probably head about but likely not played or forgotten gems that are still special to this day the goal is to provide information about good, interesting games experiences that can stand on it's own.

Today's column covers Simcity 4, which will probably be the most modern and most well known game I'll probably cover. Surprised it's almost 10 years old! It used to be such a big name in gaming and so many people now haven't really heard of it....

I like Sim City 4, just wish it wasn't so broken on modern hardware.

I hope the new Simcity builds upon the awesomeness of the Simcity 4 by improving some of the algorithms and stuff rather than oversimplifying things like many of the Simcities between them.

Just clicking on software graphics rather than hardware solved all my issues. The game looks a bit worse but it's not too noticiable.

@smuk

I...I don't think so :(
