I still don't understand multiplying decimals.

Multiplying's easy. It's the dividing that gets tricky. Just do the long-form multiplication as if the decimals weren't there, then count the number of decimal places and add that to the final result. So:

 x  1.2

   628
+ 3140
======
  3768

There are three decimal places between the two numbers: 3.14 has two places, 1.2 has one place. So make 3768 have three decimal places: 3.768.

Yeah, that kind of thing is nonsense. If that's the best you can come up with for a political attack, you're not gonna win. That's why I always find "birthers" annoying with the President. How about you address an actual real life policy issue, rather than whether the President was born in the US.
