Huh. I've never personally known anyone to play those types of card games. Besides the dozens of unopened decks of playing cards (always a new deck for poker night) I have Uno and Phase 10.

Smile: Looking forward to MNF.

Ticked: Couldn't get a wink of sleep last night.

Ticked - My Idle Air Control Actuator blew out and is being replaced - these things rarely break and usually last the lifetime of the vehicle.
Smiled - Turns out theres a spring in my engine that was about to blow of and would have this weekend - when I am driving a long way. Good that it got caught now.
Ticked - Cost of $400 to replace...

With labor, right?

I wish all of you car loving guys could meet my mechanic Buddy (his first name is legally "Buddy"). He doesn't tolerate fake inspections and is rather strict on state inspections/emissions, but his work and prices are unbelievable. He actually suggests "Buy your own filter and oil, give me a few minutes and $8 and we're square".

Yeah that includes labor. The group I go to was directed to me by a friend of my fathers who had taken countless hundreds of thousands of cars to them over the past fifty some odd years. While the friend of my fathers was a classically mechanic and exceptionally knowledgeable about cars, he often needed extra hands - he also created the modern camera car, was an accomplished rally racer, and was a stunt driver for tv and movies, including the Dukes of Hazard.

He suggested a Charger as the hero car.

He's ripping himself off. That's not enough to pay for his garage, insurance, tools and to make a decent living.

:? : Worked a little extra today, which, is a good thing really. Except I have a computer job, so my back is disagreeing with that sentiment at the moment. They better like this spiffy flyer I've been putting together for them.

:) : More book sale tomorrow. It's $3 a bag day, so I'm getting up early before work in hopes of finding something good.

:D : October! Finally! The end of the year really is my favorite time of the year.

 : Vacation in t-minus 3 1/2 days. So stoked.

He makes a very decent living. Plus friends do friends favors.

BIG SMILES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of my dearest and best friend's wife just gave birth to a health baby boy. I was on google chat with him while she was in labor for about an hour or so, and then he typed "She just gave birth, gotta run".

He asked if I would be his child's Godfather, which I happily accepted. This is my first and maybe only time being a Godfather, and I feel quite honored.

That said, I have no clue whatsoever who is my Godfather or if I even have one.
