I always thought it would be funny if they made Donkey Kong 64: 2 for the 360. So ridiculous.

I personally thought the King of Swing games for the GBA and DS were good substitutes for the DK franchise. Still, DKC 4 should come out on WiiWare, with original Snes graphics... Along with Super Mario Bros 4, Metroid 3, Legend of Zelda 3, Mother 4... and any other sequels to NES games I feel like with their original graphic style. If Capcom can do it, Nintendo can probably do it better!!!

I could never get into DKC. Maybe I just didn't like pre-rendered graphics in my side scrollers. It just never felt right.

I thought the comlete opposite. I actually like when newer side-scrolling games have 3-D graphics.

What are the tangles with the DKC franchise now that Rare is owned by Microsoft Game Studios? I always knew that Nintendo owned the characters but what about the gameplay mechanics etc, surely they are copyright Rare? Won't we see the same legal wrangling that doomed the Goldeneye port?

a new dk country would be cool (and if done right the motion stuff could be cool to) I haven't really enjoyed a dk game in along time (dk64 was alright but the original and dk country are still the best)

super mario bros 4 would more likely be super mario world 2 (a true 2)
metroid 3 exsits. its called super metroid
legend of zelda strives to have as screwed up a time line as possible, so 3 would be out of the question.
and i dont know anything about mother / earthbound / whatever.
