I hear about this show a lot. Also about a girl called Snooki.

Can any one tell me whats with this show and why is it criticized heavily , it and the girl Snooki?

and if the show is so bad, how come it survived 5 seasons?

For once I'm glad I live in mexico and the basic cable doesnt have MTV.

I've seen enough at work on break time and snippets on the net to know that its crap.

I'm not gonna shed a tear over its cancellation.

From a videogame standpoint, the place where the show took place had some of the best arcades in NJ. Ever since MTV started coming there (even before the show in the late 90s), it's taken on that stereo-typical, trashy reputation. Which is sad, because as long as you don't venture past the boardwalk, it's a great place for great arcade games, with many long standing names there. I will always have fond memories of that place.

Is there any quality programming on MTV? It stunk since they started doing reality shows in the early 90s. The Real World.
