MIDWAY ARCADE ORIGINS
Re: MIDWAY ARCADE ORIGINS
Nice to see the Arcade games continue to come out for each generation. Hopefully Robotron will get complete button customization. Only the PS1 version allowed me to use two Arcade Sticks plugged in both player ports without a mod.

Re: MIDWAY ARCADE ORIGINS
This has always bugged me, too. I'll admit that it's nice to see a fat some of 30 games available however, since I remember back in the late 90's or early 2000's reading a letter in GamePro asking a similar question, except in that case it was some PS1 Namco collection that only had like 6 games on it.Ghegs wrote:While it's always nice to see old classics be available for new platforms, it bugs me that they're only including so limited a number of games. They could fit Midway's entire arcade output into one disc with room to spare. Why not at least include all the games Midway Arcade Treasures 1, 2 and 3, would've been nice to have the San Francisco Rush games here.
San Fran Rush would be awesome, but maybe they don't consider it vintage enough to put it in a package like this one? All the games in this collection only go up to... what, '91?
Re: MIDWAY ARCADE ORIGINS
Consider the game ages they're going for, but also consider the fact that SF Rush was a very technologically advanced game for the time it came out. It used a hard drive for storage. How it got on MAT 3 is a miracle (and even so, the SFR 2049 that's also on there is a HOME CONSOLE port, good luck trying to emulate that)Yancakes wrote:San Fran Rush would be awesome, but maybe they don't consider it vintage enough to put it in a package like this one? It is avaiable on the 360 but it haves an awful online code and some insanely difficult achievements.Yancakes wrote:Smash TV has been on 360 for years.Betamax001 wrote:I just want this for Smash TV on my 360. The game is kinda laggy on PS2

The only achievement the arcade game needed was the high score table.KillerJuan77 wrote:It is avaiable on the 360 but it haves an awful online code and some insanely difficult achievements.

Re: MIDWAY ARCADE ORIGINS
So how'd the collection turn out? I recall reading somewhere that some games have some issues (very vague, yes...I think it was Robotron? Maybe?) but I'm still curious how the rest of the collection fares.
