I remember when work was for only working, and not goofing off online when you're bored.

I said "I remembered when work was for only working", never said I remembered it from one of my memories.

Actually, when I worked at a BBQ joint in high school pagers and phones weren't allowed while working and there was no such thing as "I don't have anything to do". You found something to do even if it wasn't your job. Sometimes that included throwing hush puppy mix on the ceiling so it would drop on a co-workers head in two minutes or putting hand soap in an industrial dishwasher.

Yeah, but service jobs like that don't allow cell phones or pagers even today.

Smile: Had a great birthday, got to eat out, and got a cookie cake. Kinda sucks it was on a Thursday, but I can still go do something tomorrow.

Frown: Tomorrow, everybody will be at the football game, so I won't have anybody to hang with. All my friends are band geeks. Also, I'm a bit annoyed with how a lot of newer music styles of looked into are skinhead influenced/ highly related to skinheads. I might end up looking like some kind of racist or something.

It's time to acquaint yourself with the local classic rock station.

A couple of suggestions.

First, if the group features a pair of identical Aryan twins singing out of harmony with each other, and the name of the band is Prussian Blue, avoid.

Second, if the record company that put the album out is called Panzerfaust, avoid.

Third, if the name of the band is Slayer....LISTEN!

Huh. The play we just got back home from won a Pulitzer and the screenwriter was in attendance. It was well written, wasn't that bad, wasn't that great, not sure how it received a Pulitzer though.
