Definitely. I doubt they're producing many U.S. versions of the system, if any, but it's still a top seller for them in places like India or other "emerging markets". Brazil has only officially had the system since November 2009, so I'd guess they're not in a rush to pull it off the shelves there.

Even if Sony stopped producing them, the Ps2 is everywhere. I can't imagine them ever becoming 'scarce'

Exactly. New in box, maybe, but the PS2 is the top selling console thus far.

The sheer number of them sold makes it highly unlikely that it'll ever be hard to find one in our respective lifetimes. Relative to any other console yet in existence at least.
