A few weeks ago I cut the middle knuckle on my left index finger really bad. I couldn't bend that finger at all (the slightest bend would result in extreme pain) for several days, and it was a good two weeks before I was able to use it normally. Even now, if I stretch the skin all the way on that knuckle I still have a little pain.

Long story short, I feel your pain. I know how frustrating it was to type with one hand. The obvious things you can't do didn't bother me as much, I guess because it was obvious. But typing was really starting to piss me off.

The less obvious, remedial tasks would piss me off. Having to take something out of my left front pocket with my right hand was annoying to say the least. Not to mention how weird you must look to others when doing it in public. I also found out that I pee left handed, even though I write right handed. I never thought of it until I had to use my right hand. And I don't really know how to describe how it felt, it was just awkward. Thank God I wipe right handed though!

It's a bummer, man. Feel better!

I hope you feel better soon! I never broke a bone other than a toe, so I know how it can be annoying to do simple things (my mom said I wasn't broken but It was crooked and it hurt to walk with normal shoes, much less run for a entire month )

Dude that hurts my hand just thinking about it.

Like Ziggy said I can sort of feel your pain (but not really, I'm sure) because there was one time that I was helping my mom put down some flooring in the house and I had to cut some pieces I sliced right through my thumb (even part of the nail *shivers*). So yeah, extremely painful and not fun at all having to do everything with one hand.

Anywho, I hope that whatever happened wasn't too traumatizing and that everything heals up nice and quickly. Hope to see you back and up to speed real soon!
