60 bucks. Not exactly a steal but I was glad to get it all from someone I know and could trust to verify how everything worked. And those last couple rows have mmmmost of the games I really want on the system so it was nice to get them in one fell swoop. Plus I got to see my friend and see him off for his first day at his new job. I felt like such a proud parent.

Now I just mainly want Pokemon Snap and Starfox 64. I'd also love to get Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine and Worms Armageddon if I can find em cheap. I suppose I should try to get Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart 64, and Majora's Mask too eh? :D

Ziggy587 wrote:I hit up a bunch of thrift stores today. I got a couple of good scores, but the one I'm still laughing about is...

GBA SP (AGS-001) with charger and authentic Pokemon Leaf Green in the cart slot - $2.99 !

This was in the same thrift store that had a bare oXbox for $90

edit: In another thrift store, I found a huge Trinitron, and it was only $18.99, but marked AS-IS. The guy said that means "it probably doesn't work." I have a Trinitron already, but it would have been nice to have a larger screen. Maybe it's good though that I didn't get it. It was huge (37" ?) and I don't think I would have been able to fit it in my car.
Maybe they mistook the Xbox for a Xbox 360 i have that happen a lot where i am

So browsing a sellers PS2 games I picked up Dynasty Warriors 3 Extreme Legends and asked "how much are your PS2 games".
To which the seller replied "50p each or I can do you a deal if you buy a few" :)
Before I had finished checking the condition of DW3's disc the seller says " give us £4 for the lot"
Hard to refuse such a good offer :P
  Holy Crap!! PM Sent!

its been a little slow for me since I have other bills to pay.

But today I got some good luck! I was at work going through the stack of used giftcards, when I found two stuck together. HMM...... Pry them apart and check the price....... BINGO $86.00  Pocketed it and once I got off of work I decided to go to Kmart,(giftcard works there too  ).

On my way to the K, I stopped by the Salvation army in town and they had PS1 games. For $2.00 each :)

WWF Smackdown, WWF Smackdown 2,Tony Hawks 1-3, Tekken 3, Starwars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace, Star Wars Rebel Assault II, and IHRA Drag Racing Had to pay 4 bucks for Rebel Assault, since it was double disc, but I wasnt gonna haggle with them. Still a good deal for $20 bucks.

Also At the Salvation Army I got some strategy guides: Battlefield 3, Elder Scrolls Skyrim, and Rage. Dollar each :D

Finally made it to kmart, to spend the free money! Bought some nice clothes house stuff, and a phone card. But gamingwise I did buy some stuff: 8gb SD card clearance for $3.50, Yakuza 4 for PS3 $14.97 and a NYKO 8ft wii component cable for $9.99

Cant complain when its free money!

I then went to target to see if they had any clearance games, Sadly none that I was interested in. But I did get some some disney approved anime  I got The Secret World Of Arrietty BLU/DVD combo for $20.00 (not pictured)

I am pleased.

A co-worker gave (yes, gave) me a first gen lynx today. The only other two people at our office that might have wanted a lynx already owned one. Fired it up with the A/C adaptor and it looks great.

Need FreeMCboot? I'll install it on your PS2 Memory Card for free if you cover postage both ways.

Stopped by a garage sale and spent my last free $5 on a PS1. It was $10 but I got it half off just because they were nice. Real easy clean up too, just had to remove some stray hair and goo gone the sharpie off the memory cards. Plus I got two first-party controllers.
As my first Sony console, I find it very exciting. The thing works well but I tested it with a CD since I have no games.

However I ordered Tomb Raider off Amazon for about $6 so I'm looking foward to when that gets here.

Sorry.

Please please please shrink down your pictures. Not all layouts do this for you. A kinda blurry and grainy 3000+ pixel image is no where near as good as a properly sized image which will tighten it up and load faster for everyone. - Hobie

Oh man, that game has not aged too well at all.

Don't let it turn you off from the rest of the console!
