It's definitely worth a shot. Even though I keep saying how it's rude and violent, there's a lot of funny situational comedy and witty jokes that might fly over your head. I don't want to give out spoilers or anything, but the funny thing about that series is how two low life bums get into all kinds of crazy and weird predicaments because they come up with "brilliant" plans. The plotlines revolve around Mayall's zany character Richie most of the time anyways.Hobie-wan wrote:That's the thing, Vyvyan is my favorite character. Though I've seen the Bottom Live bloopers and that was pretty funny.
This is sort of unrelated but Black Adder (seasons 2 and 4) is another great (historical!) sitcom from that era. It's funny to see Rowan Atkinson (most people see him as Mr Bean) playing a really snarky character.
