There's scenery like that in Las Vegas? I thought the area was mostly a flat desert. Is that area close to Grand Canyon or something?JsGameRoom wrote:Mary Jane Falls, at Mount Charleston in Las Vegas
This is true. People are becoming more and more urbanized. Because most people want to live close to services, they live so far away from wilderness/semi-wilderness that if they want to truly spend time outdoors, they'll have to reserve a whole day for that, so most people are too busy and/or tired to do that more than a few times a year.BoringSupreez wrote: It's just the way our modern society is; we increasingly have tons of inside entertainment while outside stuff has remained constant or even decreased.
I wish I was living "in the middle of nowhere", I know I'm such a lazy spineless person that I wont go outside if it takes too much time and effort, but I very often yearn the feeling of being alone in nature.
