yesterday was this annual neighborhood yard sale that we hit up every year. It takes hours to see everything. But sadly, I came up pretty short on finds -- grabbed an Xbox game for myself and a PC pinball game for dsh. But the one awesome find was actually for my wife... big-box Dragon's Lair, complete and in great shape for $1.

Our neighborhood sale was a bust too. Granted I stepped out much later than normal. I ended up with a Bulbasaur GB carring case and a pair of framing hammers. Whee!

In the local shop yesterday the cashier apologised for having no £5 notes. I told her it was fine as I can do with the change for boot saling.
She asked me which ones I go to, so I told her. She told me about one in Fordham on Sundays which I didn't know about :D

So pastures new for me today :D

Find of the year, perhaps? I adore that game, and it has a great title.

In any event, I did not think I found that much this weekend, until I looked at my wallet and realized how much cash I had left over. Anyway, I picked up:

Sports Talk Football '93 Featuring Joe Montana (GEN; CIB) - $1
007: The World is Not Enough (N64; cart) - $2
Gauntlet Legends (N64; cart) - $5
Bomberman Jetters (NGC; CIB) - $3
Grand Theft Auto 2 (PS1; CIB) - $2
The Mark of Kri (PS2; CIB) - $3
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (SNES; cart) - $2

Obviously, there ar no huge finds here, but seven games - four of which are complete - for $18 is still pretty good.

So browsing a sellers PS2 games I picked up Dynasty Warriors 3 Extreme Legends and asked "how much are your PS2 games".
To which the seller replied "50p each or I can do you a deal if you buy a few" :)
Before I had finished checking the condition of DW3's disc the seller says " give us £4 for the lot"
Hard to refuse such a good offer :P

World Grand Prix
The Ninja
The Jungle Book
Rise of the Robots
Captain Skyhawk, overpaid on these :? £8
Pikmin £3.50p
Road Rage 3 £1
Road Rash Jailbreak £1
Rayman Rush 20p
Rayman Junior Level 2, 20p
Jersey Devil, this game strangely has it's own walkthrough guide pakaged with it :? £1
Loaded £1

Crash has a broken leg and a dose of foot in mouth. I can see these taking forever to clean. Cost £9

My neighbors across the street have a SNES with some games, almost all of which are good. They haven't played it much in years though, so when I offered the wife $20 cash for Secret of Mana she accepted right away. Saves her the trouble of selling it on Ebay (she'd been procrastinating for months on that) and I get a good deal on a game I've wanted for years. Haven't tested the battery yet, but I'll be happy with my purchase either way. I can always contact Hobie, after all.
