Absolutely amazing. Many of the characters are developed much more than in the series and the climax is one of (if not) the best looking anime sequences I've ever seen.
Also, the title for the third one is stupid and ironic (You can (not) redo).
What was the last movie you've seen?

I'll give you that for sure. It sounds silly.KillerJuan77 wrote:So I'm not the only one that feels that the title for the 3rd. is stupid?AppleQueso wrote:cool I was right.
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Last two were:
* Forbidden Zone (colorized): Loved it. Also heard that a sequel is in the works. There's a small video on YouTube from it featuring a character named Princess Polly.
* Taxandria: it's really gorgeous for an old movie (it was released in the late-'80s, but it was in production for 15 years). It's one of those adult-fairy-tale-type movies and ranks up there along City of Lost Children. It's about a young prince named Jan who is introduced to an imaginary land called Taxandria, a land of eternal present where progress is illegal after an event in its past almost destroyed everything. It's rather short at the better part of 80 minutes, and its only DVD release was in The Netherlands, so expect a bit of sticker shock (mine was to the tune of $35).

The movie was awesome! Great special effects (the face-melting scene, though the helmet, was quite memorable) and awesome sets. Fantastic acting. A very definable eerie atmosphere to the entire film. And the intense moments were done well..elmagicochrisg wrote:Prometheus

The story was awesome. I love the idea of these two giant Alien races, one that sacrificed themselves to start humanity, and the other designed to stagnate humanity. The whole thing was just so sci-fi.

Exactly, and yeah, the intense moments are definetely tense and gruesome. I also saw it in 3D and it looked amazing!BurningDoom wrote:The movie was awesome!
