Geez i can't remember the last time I've heard one of those "this is a promo" type voiceover things on a downloaded album.
I did have a leaked version of an album once that had like, an entire guitar solo inexplicably missing in one song.
What was the last movie you've seen?
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Yup. Usually I don't get a theatrical release, but it has happened a few times. I like the timecodes for references and they are needed for opinions on editing, but the watermarks can get frustrating although I have gotten used to them to the point where I sometimes don't even notice them.fastbilly1 wrote:Depends on what its for, but your right. Most of the time you get something with timecode, and 99% of the time you get something with do not distribute all over it.Luke wrote:and it's not like you get the theatrical release.
Speaking of screeners, JUDGE DREDD should be here either today or tomorrow.

I watched the Phoenix Wright movie yesterday. I have to say it was an amazing adaption of the game. Specially when they used the game's soundtrack. Though I had hoped I'd get blue and red backgrounds while Edgeworth and Phoenix were trading objections.
Still very good movie, every fan of the games should watch. By the way it's a retelling of the 2nd and 4th case from the 1st game (the 1st and 3rd case are briefly mentioned too), so if you haven't played that game yet, don't watch the film it will spoil everything.

^ I loved it too. I got a bag of stuff at the festival because I was the youngest there. I hope it gets subtitled and released online atleast.

Looking forward to your "Yay" or "Nay". My requirements are a fun action film.Luke wrote:Speaking of screeners, JUDGE DREDD should be here either today or tomorrow.

It already has the 1-up on Sly's film being Rob free and I could care less if it follows the comic franchise or not, I just want fun from this.
Not to pump up expectations, but I think DREDD could become a series of films as the source material leaves a lot of windows open. Truth be told I'm not crazy about the early Dredd-iverse, but it has tons of potential with characters that can easily be bettered.
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Yeah, I have no real connection to the Judge Dredd universe, so going from the skeleton of "massive urban dystopia" + "judge, jury, and executioner" you can get a good action film that makes every comic fan vomit in disgust, but I'll enjoy it.
