Just got Gradius Collection complete for PSP today at GS.
Only $7; hells yeah, Gradius on the go! I've only played the original, so this'll be lots of new playtime for me.

I am getting my ass handed to me in Chaos Field. I am still loving this game though. It slows down when you lock on and a lot of bullets are on screen, but I wonder if that was their intention since it seems the only way to survive. It's like if you time it right, you can use the slow down to your advantage every time. I find myself letting the screen fill with bullets while in chaos filed, locking on and then sweeping the rest with the sword. I find it very satisfying when pulled off right.

Missed this frome before but..NICE. I was fortunate and won an auction for $7.50. Couldn't find it anywhere and expected to pay more based on an eBay sampling.foxhound1022 wrote:Just got Gradius Collection complete for PSP today at GS.

I've been out of the gaming community for a few years now- anything good shmup wise come around? Last I was involved, Dux was released- any other homebrew projects on the horizon?

Gradius ReBirth on Wii.
I think it's safe to say anyone who is a at least a moderate fan of the series will like this game.

Been fiddling around in Akai Katana a fair bit, and I really need to spend some time with Castle of Shikigami III.
