Random Gaming Thoughts
Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
The weird thing with Crazy Taxi is the boost and special moves are really awkward to pull off. At the time I saw no problem with having to break then accelerate rapidly to boost (I still don't really - I love the game), but I don't think that would go down well with modern gamers. Not in a driving game. It's a really obscure way of implementing boosts and drifts etc.

The original Bioshock didn't hold me all the way through... but Infinite seems like a game I NEED to pick up. Why am I so odd with my choice of games? Why do I always use the three periods in my posts? Why does EA have to rape all that is good with videogames?

I still remember when I only had a TV with a 75ohm connector and I had to connect the Turboduo to it. Bless you 1970s wood grain TV with your 6 button remote.

Fighters that require skill=/= good for party
I hooked up the dreamcast and popped in SOULCALIBUR yesterday on practice and lost several times on our ring out fights on practice mode
Needless to say EVERYONE I fought spammed uncontrably and then knocked me off the star when I started sneezing since I have a cold and they all went; Dude. You suck at this game. Lrn2play (atleast in a nutshell)
I hate playing fighters other than Smash Bros with people because they spam, I block most of it, but eventually lose and get told I suck

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I hate that if I want to play a fighter, I need more time than I have to get good and stay good at it.

No offense SamuraiMegas, but if you can't counter spam then you honestly aren't very good.
Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I was always afraid this might be true. I really like to get into a fighter and learn the controls properly, but when I play with a friend, I always get button-mashed into a bloody pulp. Very annoying.AppleQueso wrote:if you can't counter spam then you honestly aren't very good.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I tend to get my butt kicked when I play soul caliber 4 or 5 but for some reason on the dreamcast one which i grew up with im always good. Im more kickass at 2d fighter's then 3d so while i might get schooled at some current gen 3d fighter I will kill someone at marvelvs. caocom or street fighter or last blade.SamuraiMegas wrote:Fighters that require skill=/= good for party
