Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Gunstar Green introduced me to a Flea Market about 45 minutes or so away from me/ 25 minutes or so from him. Between that Flea Market and a few other places that I already frequent, I had a decent day of finds.
Started with these 4 for $13 from a vendor at the Flea Market:

These were $3 for the pair at another vendor:

These were $1 for all three at another vendor:

And these were $5 for both games (probably the find of the day
):

We then hit up a consignment shop at a nearby mall and I grabbed these for $28 total:

Finally I managed to pick these up for $14 total from Kmart and Gamestop:

All in all a good haul for a morning's worth of work

Let me know what you think of Spider Fighter and Adventures of Batman and Robin since they were my recommendations
.
Here's my end of today's game hunt:

I beefed up my NES shmup collection with these four games for $12 total from the flea market.
I also picked up the great Genesis version of Insector X for $4 also at the flea market.
Then at the consignment shop came my favorite pick up which I have to thank dsh for spotting, H.E.R.O. for the Atari 2600. At $10 it was a pretty good deal and I've been playing it since I got home. Wonderful game.
EDIT:
And how could I forget, I also bought this boxed copy of Splatterhouse 2 off dsh!

Cool. Three Hudson games is always good (well, Hudson connections on Star Force)! Although Xexyz isn't exactly a shoot 'em up.Gunstar Green wrote:I beefed up my NES shmup collection with these four games for $12 total from the flea market.

I'm aware though there's a code to play through only the shoot'em up levels so I thought I'd include it in the thoughtBreetai wrote:Cool. Super Mario 64 $7 (cartridge only) (I overpayed but only because I was so frustrated at NEVER seeing this game for a cheap price...)
PSX Medievil $6 (complete) (Again...a bit more than I wanted to pay but Ive wanted it for a while)
PSX Strider 2 $6 (complete) (Ive heard this was really good and fairly uncommon?)
PSX MGS VR Missions $6 (complete) (made a bit of a mistake on this one...I thought it was worth a lot more...but it goes for 99 cents used on amazon...)
Disk only:
New Super Mario BRos Wii $3
Smash Bros Brawl $3
Ps2 Baldurs Gate dark alliance 2 $2
Goodwill after:
Mario Kart 64 $3
San Fran Rush 2 $3 (dont know why I got this lol...)

Okay, at Half Price Books:
Game Genie (Genesis): $3.00
Metroid Pinball (DS): $8.00
Quest 64 Guide (N64): $5.00
Network Adapter (PS2): $4.00
Thrift Store:
Web Browser (DS): $6.00
At the same store, also got both Budokai games (1 and 3 for PS2) buffed so now the discs are like brand new! ($3 a disc)
Goodwill:
Nintendo 64 bundle for $16.00
-Came with the system (and expansion pak!), atomic purple controller, gray controller, ac adapter, a rumble pak, and the crappy RF cable
Ready to Rumble Boxing (Dreamcast): $3.00
Interact Fission Fishing Controller (Dreamcast): $2.00
Playstation 2 Slim console: $10.00
Hoping the PS2 slim works. Going to sell the N64 bundle and should make a decent amount back. The PS2 network adapter's online prices have gone down slightly since I last sold one a year or so ago. Overall, not a bad day.

I think you'll really like Strider, it's a solid game.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
You guys are lucky. I never find anything good at any thrift stores in my area. Anything gaming related I find is complete garbage. I've only scored ONCE, and that was that. Congrats guys.
