That means that the more retro we buy, the more they are gonna charge us as time goes on. Not cool. I remember Gamestop doing something similar with Lego Indiana Jones on the Wii. When it was discovered that you could use it to soft mod the wii, Gamestop would sell a used copy and then the person would return it, then they'd sell it again and again over and over. At one point, the brand new copy was $20, and the used copy was $40. I asked the manager what gives, and he just said.... ummm... I dunno? LOL.
They don't adjust it if it sells. The prices get adjusted when the HQ sends a update to their system or updates the system they connect to. They are usually dead on most retro game prices but I've gotten my share of very under priced games. :) Just be happy about it and walk out quickly with a good deal!
Missed one 'on' there...

Got a nice little haul at the boot fair this weekend:

Mercs (Mega Drive) - £1
Flashback (Mega Drive) - £1
Game Boy games - 6 for £5
- Pokemon Yellow
- Pokemon Blue
- Dr. Mario
- Donkey Kong Land III
- The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX
- Metroid Fusion
Sega Game Gear with charger and carry case - £5
Columns & Sonic 2 (Game Gear) - 50p total

I also got a DuckTales DVD box set for £2.50, it was an awesome week. Unfortunately I did narrowly miss Mario & Luigi for GBA, but I own the game already, so I don't mind too much.

Sorry for being one of those annoying people who posts something here that isn't really a "deal" per se, but I wanted to share this.

I went to Goodwill today and found one of those old "Duke" Xbox controllers. This was the first time I've ever seen one in person, and I knew it got a lot of criticism for being so big but damn this thing is huge. I ended up buying it and an s controller (which I have a couple of but I've been wanting a solid black one). They both came with official breakaway cables so that's always a plus. Usually they price controllers at about $2, but today they were $4. :? :(

@harper I remember those controllers. I used to love them and thought people were crazy saying they were too big. Man my tune sure changed once we had the smaller version...

@someone3760 Do you want to play this game or collect it? If you're in it to play, seems like $13 for a CIB NES game is not too shabby.

Are you just starting out in the original Xbox? If you are I say mod that thing! You get way more out of it that way. Installing your games to the HD is awesome for speeding up load times!

As Stark says, you planning on playing it? That factors a lot. If I saw it for that I would to replace my cart only copy.

I actually don't mind it so much, it's pretty comfy, only problem is my fingers can just barely reach some of the buttons 'cause my hands are on the smaller side. haha

But literally when I first saw it my mind was like "is that a real xbox controller?"

You could say that, I've had mine for maybe a couple of years now but the only game I've owned/played for it is Fable. haha
