the baseball team? Cuz that was hilarious, too. I just beat the viking boss. Game's getting better and better. The boss battles are certainly reminiscent of No More Heroes, except I think I like them even more.Gamerforlife wrote: If you thought zombie basketball was cool, there's an even cooler part that comes up a bit later

Yeah, the baseball game is what I was referring to. That was one of my favorite parts of the game, though it was a bit frustrating the first time I played it because the game's aiming can be so finickynoiseredux wrote:the baseball team? Did you get the cheerleader overboard trophy for the viking boss? I totally missed that the first time I fought him. It's a funny little thing that's easy to miss.
On a totally different note, I was playing this recently on the Xbox 360 and backed up my hard drive save file onto a USB stick. Now, for some crazy reason, you can't back up your save on the PS3 version. What's that all about? Is Sony the one pushing for save copy locks on video games? I bitched about this earlier in this thread when playing the PS3 version, so I was quite shocked to discover that there was no restriction whatsoever for backing up your save file on the 360 version

yeah, one thing that's bugging me is I need the camera inverted, but then I need the aiming of the gun normal, so I find myself switching the camera setting throughout the game now.

That's interesting. I didn't really have an issue with the camera, but I had to go back and forth between manual aim and auto aim for the chainsaw blaster. There are parts of the game where auto aim really helped me, but there were also parts where it kind of screwed me over by not letting me target what I wanted to. So I got used to switching it on or off based on the situation at hand.noiseredux wrote:yeah, one thing that's bugging me is I need the camera inverted, but then I need the aiming of the gun normal, so I find myself switching the camera setting throughout the game now.

been playing in bits here and there when I've had time. I'm almost done with the mushroom trip level. I love that I was able to turn to my wife at one point while playing and say "I just ran over a hundred zombies in a cornfield with a wheat thresher."

That's actually my favorite level. Though I think the level immediately after it is probably the most memorable one in the game, I found the mushroom trip level to be the most fun one to re-play. It also has my favorite boss. The music for the first phase of that boss fight is great, though it's hard to hear it in actual gameplay. Here's a youtube vid of the songnoiseredux wrote:been playing in bits here and there when I've had time. I'm almost done with the mushroom trip level. And here's a much better written article that describes the game more accurately and positively and actually backs up the points that it's makingPulsar_t wrote:http://www.joystiq.com/2012/08/23/silve ... of-satire/

I actually managed to get some pre-order codes off someone for the 360 version of this game. I generally hate the whole concept of pre-order DLC. I really do, but I have to admit I love the Ash outfit! I'm glad someone gave me the code.

^that's pretty awesome! The Evil Dead is one of my favorite movies of all time. Yes. I said The Evil Dead. Not The Evil Dead 2.
