I know how you feel about SFA3 in a way. I loved MVC2 when I was young so I bought MVC3 and used simple mode. I picked up MVC2 recently and got my ass handed to me. I set it to easy because I use the dreamcast controller and I have only managed to beat arcade once.

I've never played it on DC, only on Wii. But I do love the series in general.

Nice reviews! The DC Lightguns have auto fire and auto reload, I really wish the Wii Remote had this capability.

I actually like the fact that you have to aim off-screen, kinda helps keep the arcade feel. Plus I like hearing the guy say "re-reh-re-re-reload".

On the subject of gigawing, it can actually be harder on the easier difficulties. Games like this and mars matrix, where a lot of your firepower is derived from collecting and returning enemy bullets, can become more difficult if you eliminate a lot of those bullets to begin with. Just a thought.
