Love computers. Been building them for over 15 years. Never bought a retail machine before.

Although I haven't worked on computers in a while I definitely remember fixing and upgrading my first laptop, and then the excitement of building my own rig for the first time early in high school. Learning my way around the machine just made me feel so masterful  . Building your own computer teaches you a lot of important lessons, like how a cheap PSU can ruin your life.

I'm in the middle of getting the parts for mine. Love the PC. :)

Me too but I've only been building since this year. I've built an HTPC and a desktop. It's fun to see your new creation come to life.

I have more console games, but I spend more time playing PC games for sure.

I recently built myself a new computer since my old one was 5 years old and couldn't handle the MW:O beta. I went pretty all out with an Ivy Bridge and dual GTX 670s, so it should last me quite a while, especially if the slowing of hardware requirements continues.

I don't do modern PC stuff but I am big on classic computing. I've got most of the more well-known systems with my favorites being the Atari 8-bit, C64 and Amiga. The only two modern computers I have are my five-year old MacBook and a three-year old Sony Vaio, the latter of which I only use for the occasional Windows program. Pretty much the only game I play on my Mac is Skulltag which is a Doom source port.
