The laser would be destroyed pretty quick though. I might bring two dreamcasts one for legit games and one for burned games, but I wouldn't bring one personally you need something that can work as something else and bring in the babes and some bros to play games with. (my cousin asked which consoles to bring at college and he brought those and had a good time )

I disagree. While the matter may be entirely opinionated, I can see very few games which are exclusive to the Dreamcast's four-player. Power Stone may hold up, but I am willing to bet more people are familiar with SSB. Also, the N64 generally has a party-oriented feel to it. It's far from my favorite console, but it's even farther from sucking.

Buy a high end laptop. Get a lock for it and chain it to something stable in your room to avoid theft. Buy some controllers and peripherals and set it up with all the emulators and roms you can find.

CD-R's damaging the Dreamcast is mostly just a myth.

And it would've also had years of wear and tear on it from the legit games.

I will say this, make sure you're using good rips of the games, ones that have filler (burnt completely to the edge of the disc) and come out to around 700 mb. If there's no filler the DC will have a tougher time finding the data.

Just thought of this: bring a retron 3. 3 consoles in 1 so it saves space. Don't bring expensive games though just common ones.

You need to go more extreme than that. Decapitate a student and put his head on a pike outside your room. If anyone asks say this is what happens to people who steal from you.

I'm not trying to attract ladies at all, actually. Dudes 4lyfe

My roommate and I decided upon a SNES. We've got some fighting games and beat 'em ups and we're good to go OH MAN

I really, genuinely considered bringing my CD-i 910 along just for fun, but decided against it because that guy is way too heavy.
