Frown turned upside down (for now).

Had to pick some frozen veggies (I was out, and I eat them frozen by the handful for a snack) and passed by the deli where I always get a slice of liverwurst for my dog.

I frequent the deli so often for liverwurst, they see me, they already know what I'm going to order.

There is this super perky, cute petite, friendly, and sexy as all get out college girl named Kristin (maybe Kirstin? never took the time to stare at her name tag, since I don't [but would] stare at her left boob) that is usually my "deli gal".

So anyway, I stopped by for the usual slice, and Kristin, knowing that Ripley has skin cancer, asked "How's Ripley?". I know she would remember me, but the fact she rememered Rip's name, and actually took the time to ask how Ripley was gave me all kinds of warm fuzzies.

I tend to go all out when trying to let random people I appreciate their acts of kindness, but this was more than being kind. I wanted to go behind the deli counter and give her a huge hug (the "nice kind", not the "I want to hug you only to feel your huge your perky tits feel against my chest kind").

Sometimes you have to love people.

Shock treatment for kidney stones on Friday. Not incredibly excited. Mostly because I can't have food past midnight and nothing to drink past 10 AM, and the procedure's at 4:15 PM.

Might just have a late night and sleep in very late to try to combat it.

Find out what you're allowed, and likely to be up for afterwards so you can have some favorite food or fun to make up for it after. Round up friends, not for sympathy, but for diversionary tactics after.

What made me frown today: my dad was watching my papaw fell asleep and my pawpaw who kinda lost his marbles and lost the ability to walk without a cane and someone making sure he wont fall when he had his stroke in april got up with no cane and I was sitting in my room and saw him walking ran to him and he used me as a cane. I never have had something press down on me so hard. Ow.
What made me smile: I can now buy a house in solitude in skyrim

Madder than a hatter: I am physically angry. My fingers are shaking as I type this. I am breathing so deeply my shoulders reach my earlobes, my throat is sore from yelling, my muscles are as tight as a mattress spring, and after eighty consecutive push-ups I remain a ball of frustrated rage.

In short, my new vet has caused a shit ton of stress on my dog, has prescribed medication to my dog that has not done a thing, and has cost me nearly a thousand dollars and three days of "vacation" time. All for nothing.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I've met several vets and doctors that have zero common sense and are only in the occupation to make money. Why doctors don't have a worse reputation than lawyers befuddles me.

Lawyers probably save as many lives as doctors, if not more.

Lawyers put rapists, murderers, kidnappers, and general assholes behind bars saving little girls from rape, being murdered, or being forced into some weird underground sex ring.

12 year old Canadian kids can stitch a broken nose in minutes without health insurance or a $2000 "emergency fee". And now health insurance is required by law thanks to our administration. "Legal insurance" isn't required, but may as well be (I like Obama a lot, so let's not go political).

Luke, you forget that only about 10% of lawyers, if that, are in the business to help people. The rest are there to win their case and get their damn money. That's it. They could have the man admit to raping and killing thousands of people. Doesn't matter to them as long as they get their money when they win the case.


On the vet deal... I guess it comes from the ranch raising, but I've grown with the idealism that if it is in pain, its nicer to go ahead and put the dog out of its misery. Cancer has always been one of the things we've done it over, among others. I know you don't want to hear that, but it could be the best option.
