usps package?

Hi everyone, I have a question about usps package deliveries? I want to know if there is a way to get my ebay or amazon package straight from the post office instead of making the mailman deliver my package at home? I don't want to make it hard for mail to deliver my package when i'm not there. I prefer to walk to the post office.

Best thing to do is probably set yourself up a P.O. Box if you'd rather pick it up at the post office anyway. Have your packages mailed there.

As Mr Manzana says, a PO box will definitely do it. Otherwise I'd check the USPS site or call them to see if you can have all packages held for pick up.

So say if buy the smallest/cheapest PO box and my package is big for the cotainer. So I assume a small usps card will be inside the container telling me give it to the post office worker to get the package.

yup, they'll do that for you.

In california, po boxes can be paid once or twice a year. I pay 60 bucks for mine a year. Five a month is quite nice.

Although beware, some companies dont ship to po boxes anyways. So double check and see if you can have it sent to your box.
