ALF is going to happen.

Bummer. Who I thought would write it isn't going to, and now ALF is going to be cgi'd in. Did we not learn anything from The Smurf movie?

Not sure what angle they are going with, but I don't see a lot of kids being drawn to ALF. Keep him as a puppet, keep it some what intelligent.

One of the best things about MUPPET MOVIE was seeing Kermit and Miss Piggy do the day time and late night talk show circuits. You don't cgi in a guest like that.

Considering they're already working on TWO sequels to that... I guess not.

Kevin Nash be going places people. After Magic Mike, studios are in love with him. He's the bizarro Razor Ramone.

I had NO CLUE he played Super Shredder in TMNT II. Learn something awesome everyday.

the star wars trilogy

28 years old and the first time i've seen any of the movies. i'm sure the series was groundbreaking back when it was first released, but i really wasn't expecting a 30ish year old movie series to blow me away in 2012. and i was right. it really didn't do a whole lot for me. the story is pretty cool i guess, but the dialogue is chessy and the acting is pretty bad.

probably my favorite scene from the whole series is the bar scene in a new hope. it has that it-is-so-bad-it-makes-it-amazing vibe. the awful costumes and seeing those aliens jam on the instruments is so great.
if you took a shit, please put it back

I'm in the same boat.. I guess it took me that long because I never caught SW on any free-to-air channels, ever. I did watch the HD transfers which were horrible. I guess SW is another of those facts of life that you just have to grin and bear

The "lore" does lend itself to videogames and plenty of parody material found in Mad Magazine and other comedy venues which I always thought were quite entertaining (Lucas' new age saga was a product of its time and the goofiness could not be replicated in his atrocious prequels, something which the masses don't seem to get, as usual).. Oh and another one I still haven't watched is ET, despite being tormented by the Atari 2600 game all those centuries ago :?

Looking at SW from the sidelines it is indeed a space comedy worth its salt.. I just wish they'd stop labelling it scifi. It's pure fantasy through and through.

I knew about the Super Shredder thing, but not Magic Mike. It's not like it's a movie I'm interested in. So girls like elderly, greying guys that still think they're 20?

He's also in the Tom Cruise musical we've all already forgotten about.

Nash is apparently witty, humble, friendly and enthusiastic about finding his Hollywood niche. He likes to nudge elbows and is good at it.

Your "think they're 20" statement reminded me of something Nash once said that reminded me of how awesome he is. "When I dye my hair all black, I feel like a kid again. like I'm 35 years old". I'm paraphrasing, but it's close to that. Guy seems like he doesn't take anything seriously.

The comment was more about his wrestling career in the last 10 years. He thinks he's still a main-eventer and can hang with the young guys, and nothing could be further from the truth. He looks as stiff as Frankenstein out there and hasn't been relevant in pro-wrestling since WCW folded
