What was the last movie you've seen?

Wow. That new Ice Age movie made 500mil overseas.

One of my pet peeves is "movie sequels that are higher than 2 and I've never even seen the first sequel."

IE Ice Age. What is this, like Ice Age 5? I never even saw the 2nd one. Same thing with Land Before Time (I saw the first one at the theater as a kid). It has like 18 sequels. American Pie 98: The Reunion, Hostel 15, etc.

Has there ever been a good ____ 4? I mean you can think of lots of great sequels, a handful of quality threequels, but I can't think of anything that's still good once it hits movie #4.

Stuff like James Bond or Godzilla doesn't count.

Star Trek IV is ok.

Harry Potter 4 isn't horrible.

I am in a small minority that likes Alien Resurrection.

I've head good things about MI4


There's a bunch of "not horrible" fourth films too (Rambo, Die Hard, Hannibal Lecter movies, Indy 4 (yes, really), Terminator, but "good" ... as in 4 or 5 stars...that's a toughie.)

Rocky IV defined the sports montage. The movie is super campy, but I love it.

SUPERMAN IV, ouch. Batman and Robin, so not good.
