If you've got the means, a scart to component or hdmi will give you the highest quality picture on a new television. Otherwise, spending like 3 bucks on an rf adaptor may be your best bet.

Thats a good idea for the RGB to Component conversion. But instead of RF, the TV does have a Composite Jack built right into the Component shared input. Look at the yellow/ green jack. Hopefully C-Sword still has the proprietary plug for it.

TV makers are trying to cut corners and keep the cost down. Price is the single most important factor to a new TV buyer.

When I went to buy my HDTV I specifically made sure to check the back connections because some of them had literally nothing. Some of the flat screens didn't even have connections for sound!

My TV ended up being a $20 or so more than a lot of the HDTV's in it's size and qaulity, but I ended up with a million plug in's. Like 4 HDMI, 2 components, 1 A/V, an optical + others I don't know what are for.

So basically my tip is to make sure before you buy to check the connections. It's something that slips the mind for a lot of us because we are looking at specs.

Exactly. Only gamers are really gonna care about jacks. And videophiles but they're probably gonna have an amazing receiver to couple with their 4k TV anyways.
