Hey Pulsar T!

I found something for you!

http://boingboing.net/2012/07/28/sick-o ... ready.html

I do get your point about not liking the olympics. But Crowd mentality takes over and you'll soon be drowned out. Its only for a little while. I'm sure four years from now you'll still be hating it.

I've also read that former olympic cities/economies have gone to crap after its all over.

Since you're in Cypress, which is near Greece; you probably felt the sting of all the leftover crap and destitution in the wake of those olympics from a few years ago.

Money was wasted and mis-used and probably still now.

To keep this thread lively, I'll post some more stuff later.

FTFY.
You say that like performance enhancement is a bad thing. I look foward to the day when every athlete is being pushed to their limit by medical science.

Not crazy about cycling, but I do adore the gymnastics. A few friends and I played a game of "is it okay to think she's hot?" last night.

Sadly, very few of the gymnasts were 18 or older.

Captain America?

I love the Olympics, other than horse races, the Iron Bowl, and the occasional real football, it is the only sporting event I make an effort to watch. I love it when the underdogs win. Like in mens cross country cycling where after a long time of nothing exciting, the Cambodian and Kazicstani guy got way out in front and got first and second. Or like the guys from the former Dutch Antilles and from South Sudan who are Independents.

Though I am partial to the lead female Zimbabwean swimmer, since I casually dated her in college. She only had a handful of medals then, now she has seven or eight. She was in my major and we were good friends. We dated for an afternoon just so I could say I dated a gold medal winning Olympian...

Yes?

I love the totality of the Olympics, but not every event.

Right now I have men's field hockey on the tele. Boring without female twins at camp that find out they're related and switch places.
